Drinking Coke

Mum bought a negative scanner from Aldi for cheap and began scanning and uploading really old negatives onto her computer. She's become really tech-savvy.

Monday

We had a late lunch in the backyard today while the sun was beginning to set. Super calming but it got a little chilly.

Then I headed out to a workmate's Mexican fiesta-themed dinner party. I printed and cut out paper moustaches and a few people brought sombreros. There was so much food left that I regretted not taking some for the train trip home.

Tomorrow is my last full day of bumming around before I am back at work for the rest of the week and then uni starts again next Monday. So, so sad about it. No where near completion of my "holiday to-do list" and I haven't been slacking off on it either!

Let's Talk Fitness

The past two months I had the sudden urge to get up and run. Get myself out there and be active. For everyone joining the gym is not the same. My goal was to push myself out of my comfort zone. Put myself into an environment where I knew it would be uncomfortable with eyes staring at you. 2 months later, it doesn't seem to phase me anymore. Part of the goal was seeing how far I could push myself each time, where previously I gave up. If anything its changed my perception of myself.

Although having the right tools to aid you is a one up. Good shoes and a good bra is essential. A mat makes it extra comfy and soft, and music, I can't be without. And because I can't stand hearing Kiesza's Hideaway being played on repeat.

This is the first update using my phone. Maybe it'll make it easier to post on the go.

My shoes are here... Let's go out.

I didn't end up getting the crop top I mentioned previously because I stumbled upon these shoes during a sale at the Zu store. I walked out without them and regretted it so I tried my luck online and they had my size. Took 4 days to ship from their warehouse in WA. So... anyone want to go out? Need an excuse to wear these babies besides around the house doing chores.

Also Dad is back for a week so we decided to get Pho for brunch at Canley Heights.

2 hidden ways to get more from your Gmail address

  • Append a plus ("+") sign and any combination of words or numbers after your email address. For example, if your name was hikingfan@gmail.com, you could send mail to hikingfan+friends@gmail.com or hikingfan+mailinglists@gmail.com.
  • Insert one or several dots (".") anywhere in your email address. Gmail doesn't recognize periods as characters in addresses -- we just ignore them. For example, you could tell people your address was hikingfan@gmail.com, hiking.fan@gmail.com or hi.kin.g.fan@gmail.com. (Jenny: It also works when logging into your account. ;)
